Pat Quance - Impressionist

For decades Pat has dreamed of being a full-time touring Christian musician. Pat graduated from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and has served as a public school music teacher and

state university graduate assistant in the past.

For a brief time, the touring dream came true in 1990, touring 24 states with the Minneapolis-Saint Paul based Dennis Davenport Trio. But the needs of a young family prompted a 1992 decision to come off the road. Now, with his family raised, more and better musical ideas for compositions, and better technology for developing them, he is ready

to tour again. This time as a soloist and sometimes in duet with his wife. Pat has written over 40 inspirational songs and is willing to do concerts. Based on the apostle Paul's discussion in his New Testament letters

to the young church of his thoughts on the financing of a preaching ministry, Pat has long tried to be like Paul, a "tentmaker"-

not literally, but using the same principle: working at another job,

so that he doesn’t become a financial burden to churches where he sings. Pat presently works at KHRT radio in Minot.
